About Fred Thompson

Integrity, expertise, and results driven service define my approach to Real Estate.

With nearly two decades of experience in Real Estate, lending, and credit strategy, I bring a unique, full spectrum understanding of the homebuying process. My journey began in 2004 when I purchased my first property an experience that exposed the gaps many buyers face when navigating credit, financing, and Real Estate decisions without proper guidance. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to ensure every client I serve is informed, prepared, and positioned for success.

Before becoming a Realtor, I spent several years in credit repair and later worked as a Loan Officer, gaining hands on experience with CHFA, VA, FHA, Conventional, and 203(k) loan programs. This background allows me to do more than help clients buy homes I help them build strategies, eliminate debt, and maximize their financial position.

Since launching my Real Estate career in 2016, I have built a strong referral based business by specializing in creative financing solutions, including $100 down payment programs and rehabilitation loans. I have also established relationships with municipalities across Connecticut, helping clients access first time homebuyer grants and reduce out-of-pocket costs.
